As the lights went out in the fall 2013 runway presentation Bridal Anne Barge, the music you listen to a walk through the streets of Paris or sitting in a quaint French cafe started playing. As the first model is mounted on the runway (with a number of simple but impressive spaghetti, black fabric strap and veil birdcage), I knew I was in Paris a feast of inspiration!
There are 25 new Anne Barge dresses this season, and each creation is a French name for it (Margaux, dolphins, Madeline, Cosette, etc.) given. Stunners Alençon and Chantilly lace with a deep V-neck and back were all oooing & aahing and all the little details (gloves decorated, delicate wings, beading, embroidery and ... oh divine veil amazing!) Done a good explanation. I love how Anne Barge wedding dresses move, and you can see what I mean in some of the photos below. There is no doubt that these models work, but do not forget that it all starts with the dress.
